The Stewards fined the following trainer in respect of their non-runner:-

The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

J.W. Kennedy, rider of Fabhcun (GB), trained by Gordon Elliott, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount lost its action after the last hurdle.

S.D. Torrens, rider of Sam's Favourite, trained by Patrick T. Foley, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was carried out by a loose horse at the first hurdle. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the matter, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

At the request of the Raceday Stewards, P. Townend, rider of Drombane, trained by W.P. Mullins, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount ran too keen early on and kept on one pace in the home straight.

The Raceday Stewards reviewed an incident on the downhill run into the straight involving Dooks, ridden by D.J Gilligan, Blossom Trixie, ridden by M.P. O'Connor, and Celtic Alliance, ridden by J. Coen, where it appeared Dooks and Blossom Trixie got tight for room momentarily. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the matter, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

The Raceday Stewards interviewed A. Balfe, rider of Question Asked, concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who stated that his mount was responding for the use of the whip. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that A. Balfe was in breach of R.10.3(b)(out of contention) and having considered his clean record in this regard, they suspended him for two racedays.

D. Robinson, rider of Elbow Lane, trained by P.J. Rothwell, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount jumped slowly early on.

At the request of the Raceday Stewards, P.K. Donovan, rider of Silent Selector, trained by G.E. O'Leary, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount got no run coming down the hill and blew up after the second last hurdle.

The Raceday Stewards interviewed Miss P. Elvin, rider of Colwyn Bay (FR), concerning her use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who accepted she was in breach of the whip Regulation. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that Miss P. Elvin was in breach of R.10.3(g)(frequency) and having considered her record in this regard (second offence), they suspended her for four racedays.
